Practical guidance for buying, selling, and managing your account on iStack.site — the marketplace for software tools, digital products, and tech resources.

Getting started

iStack.site is a marketplace for buying and selling software tools, digital products, SaaS subscriptions, and tech resources. To start using the platform, create an account or sign in with your existing credentials.

  • Sign in with Google (or email if enabled) from /auth/signin.
  • New accounts complete a short onboarding flow to set a public profile handle, headline, and optional bio. This information appears on your public profile and helps buyers trust your identity.
  • Once your account is active, you can browse the marketplace, create listings, make purchases, and receive or send messages.

Selling on iStack

Selling on iStack.site is free to start. There are no monthly fees and no listing costs — you only pay a platform fee when a transaction completes successfully.

  • Create a listing from Dashboard → New Listing. Provide a clear title, detailed description, pricing, and any media or screenshots that help buyers understand what they're purchasing.
  • Keep listings accurate: title, description, media, and any delivery instructions. Misrepresentation can result in disputes and listing removal.
  • Connect payouts in Dashboard → Settings via Stripe Connect. You must complete Stripe onboarding before receiving payouts. Payouts are initiated automatically after successful transactions.
  • Monitor your active listings, offers received, and sales history from the dashboard. You can update, pause, or remove listings at any time.

Buying on iStack

Buyers can browse listings without an account, but purchasing requires a verified iStack account.

  • Browse listings in Marketplace. Use filters to narrow by category, price range, and other attributes.
  • Use the listing page actions to purchase or place an offer where available. Some sellers accept direct purchase; others prefer offers or negotiation.
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe. You will receive a confirmation email and can view your purchase history in the dashboard.
  • If a transaction does not go as described, contact the seller first. If you cannot resolve it, open a support ticket with your transaction ID and documentation of the issue.

Messages and offers

iStack.site includes built-in messaging so buyers and sellers can communicate directly. You can send and receive messages from Dashboard → Messages. Keeping communication on-platform helps protect both parties in the event of a dispute.

Account & security

  • Keep your profile and contact links current so buyers can trust your identity. A complete profile with accurate information builds credibility and improves conversion.
  • If you suspect unauthorized access, contact support immediately. You can also review active sessions and revoke access from your account settings.
  • Never share your login credentials or session tokens with third parties. iStack support will never ask for your password.

Platform policies

By using iStack.site, you agree to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and platform guidelines. Listings that violate these policies may be removed without notice. See the Fees & Pricing page for details on transaction costs.
